Agency Training

Trauma-informed embodiment for your organization.

Bring our evidence-based model of treating trauma through the body to your organization with our 20-hour Agency Program.

Learn concrete tools — grounded in our clinical framework — that can be brought immediately to the clients you serve. Our Trauma Sensitive Yoga training can be tailored to meet the unique needs of specific populations and dynamics and is not limited to clinicians. Many trainings have included support staff, maintenance, case managers, and administrators in addition to clinical teams for an agency-wide integration of client-centered embodied care.

Many treatment approaches for PTSD and complex trauma neglect the impact that the experience of trauma has on the body.

Through empirically validated research, we have found that our unique approach to yoga can provide survivors the opportunity to build a safe and predictable relationship with their bodies, increasing the potential for healing and recovery.

It’s more than just another yoga practice. TCTSY is a complementary treatment for complex trauma and PTSD rooted in engagement with the body in a safe, supported way that restores a sense of safety and empowerment.

Scaffolding the TCTSY Model

With our Agency Training, clinical settings and larger systems (e.g. hospitals, mental health agencies, justice systems, or shelters) can utilize Trauma Sensitive Yoga with individuals and/or groups across all demographics and needs.

Staff who complete our training and who meet the other pre-requisites are invited to join our 300-hour Certification Program in TCTSY which certifies professionals in the facilitation of TCTSY sessions. TCTSY Facilitators are required to authenticate their on-going professional development and adherence to our Code of Conduct via an annual renewal process.
