Built for people who already work with people.
If you work with people, you work with trauma.
Foundations trains you to recognize the body's role in trauma and to offer choice-based, invitational practice — inside whatever license or role you already hold.
What the 20 hours actually looks like.

Format & time
Typically one focused weekend — two full days with your trainer and a small cohort.
Spread across several sessions over a few weeks, set by your trainer's own schedule.
Live practice teaching is part of it. This isn't a training you can complete passively.
“I work at a domestic violence shelter, so we encounter those impacted by trauma on a daily basis. I have attended MANY trauma informed trainings and this is by far the best I have attended. Thanks for the research and work that is being done.”
– Foundations participant
I'd been teaching yoga for twelve years and thought I already knew how to hold space for people. Foundations showed me how much of that was still directive without my noticing.
The research base is what got me in the room. What kept me there was realizing how much of this I could bring into session the following week, inside my own license.
I run groups at a shelter, not a studio. I wasn't sure this would translate. It did — the choice-making language works anywhere someone needs to feel some say over their own body again.
